So you are thinking about studying abroad in Prague, getting ready to jet set across the world and you are wondering: If I am studying abroad in Prague, what should I bring? Well luckily for you I am here to help.

Below are my biggest do's and don't's for what to bring to Prague:
DO: bring a converter
I know some European countries now have it so Americans don't need to bring a converter to their hotel room but trust me, you will need one (or more likely two) for Prague.
DON'T: bring your fancy hair dryer
Don't bring your fancy hair dryer, straightener, shaver, etc. The outlets in Prague are not made for American products and even with a converter your products will likely get damaged.
DO: buy some good walking shoes
You are going to be walking A LOT, you will need comfortable and supporitve shoes. I reccomend Sperrys or Toms.
DON'T: bring heeled shoes
Prague is mainly cobblestone streets and walking in heels in incredibly painful and difficult. If you really want a pair of heels, get ready to pay for a lot of taxis.
DO: bring pictures of home
You are going to have the time of your life in Prague, but getting home sick is natural. You should bring some photos to cheer you up when you feel lonely and also to show off to all your new friends how awesome your life is at home.
DON'T: over pack
You are traveling for four months, not four years. Control your urge to pack everything you own. You will not need it.
Now I know there is a lot more to go over, so I created a FREE checklist on what to pack for Prague:
